2010 KOZAK FOOTBALL CAMP

For the 2nd Year in a row, Local high-school athletes decided to use their spring break for a second year to volunteer and train younger kids and give them pointers about football.  This Day Camp is FREE to all of the participants and is made possible through the local businesses and and volunteers.  It will benefit 100+ campers.

My son Braden participated and loved it. He had never played flag football before and was now given the opportunity to spend time with experienced and dedicated High School players and learn the basics of the sport.

Reglazing in Los Angeles - PKB Reglazing Did an Awesome Job!

I was faced with a dilemma; I own historic Charlie Chaplin cottages in Hollywood and want to keep them in original condition. However I had a kitchen sink that looked horrible. What to do??? What I did was to call Danny Phillips and the professionals at PKB Reglazing. I called Danny Phillips and explained my problem. He had complete knowledge of my problem and arranged for an appointment the very next day. Danny and his very capable technician, Yoankis Torino arrived right on time and analyzed the situation. To them it was no big deal as they have done hundreds of similar projects. Although I had a sink to do, their main business is reglazing bathtubs so the sink was just a smaller version of what they are experts at doing. After getting his tools and supplies, Yoankis went about protecting everything in the kitchen in a very impressive manner. He covered everything in the area with plastic including the stove, cabinets, counters, floor, everything.  This was very important to me as over the years, many people in the trades, although they may do a good job, do not take the side effects of their work into consideration. Yoankis then went through the preparation process which is extremely important to make sure the reglazing will last. It took approx. two hours after which time the sink looked brand new! Considering that the sink is almost 90 years old, that’s a pretty good feat. My tenant was so impressed with how white and smooth and clean the sink looked, he jokingly asked if Yoankis could do his teeth. There was a strong smell from the reglazing process which dissipated within a day. We were not able to use the sink for 48 hours, and were not to place objects on the sink for 5-6 days, until the product was completely done curing. After the work I was sent a very thorough set of instructions on how to maintain the sinks. 

So my review of Danny Phillips and PKB Reglazing is excellent: Professional, responsible, fine quality product and amazing results! I definitely recommend them.
